Subject:Bright green jade pendent

Thought it was faux jade at first, but a scratch test with a sharp steel pin left a gray/black line that rubbed away. Can someone translate the writing around the edges and give an estimate of age? Thanks for the help.

Judging by the so-called carving style this piece is modern. Tourist type of item.
I doubt that it is jade based on the bright colour (dyed), back and that said item appears to be set in a base metal with same as a chain.
