Subject:Chinese contemporary watercolor scroll

Hello, I purchased this beautiful contemporary watercolor scroll at the Beijing Pangiayuan Market in 1997. I would love to know who the artist is and if there is any information available about him. I do know that he had been featured in a newspaper article at that time. I will also post a photo of what might be his name. Thank you!
