Subject:Export silver box

I'm not sure if this is Chinese or Japanese. I'm also not sure of exactly what it is. Can anyone help with what the mark says and what it is? Thanks for the help.

Your silver box is Japanese、
Hall mark,
銀製　-　Ginsei　- Made of silver
Swallow
K.Hattori & Co. used a pictoriaal trademark of a swallow in flight.
The box is from the late Meiji priod (early the century)
The company was founded by Kintaro Hattori in
1881, later called Seiko Watch Company.
