Posted By: Jonathan Wed, Jun 05, 2019 These Types of stones Have been collected only recently. Not in the 19th century. The Japanese also collect this type of stone. Difficult to say where it came from. The purpose of the stones is to bring the outside inside and to stimulate the mind. It is akin to bonsai trees.
