Subject:Chinese Painting

Hi,
This painting came from my great grandmother, and I have no idea how she came upon owning it. I think it may be painted or ink on silk. It is in a walnut frame, with extra thick glass, and weighs about 30 lbs. That is all I know. Can you please tell me what the writing on the side says, and anything you know about it? I have tried to find out on my own for at least 10 years, and have had no luck with auction houses.
