Subject:Identification of Tiny Vessel
Posted By: Lance W Frazer Fri, Apr 12, 2019 IP: 2601:204:4000:dfa8:9

Good day to all. I am curious about this item I was recently given. It's quite small, only 3 inches high and about 2 1/8 at its widest. Appears modern, given the splashy paint decoration, and a few characters are present that were applied by (I assume) covering the area that was being painted in the appropriate character form. I'd appreciate anyone telling me what it is, and what the characters mean. My thanks in advance.

A Japanese tea cup, probably late 20th century.

The three characters are 清, 香 and 味 - pure, fragrant and taste.
