Hi , hoping to get some insight into this piece that I’ve had for a few years.
Hand painted canvas (?) glued to wooden planks. The panel measures 207cm x 51cm. Judging by the wood it must be 100+ years.
I’ve seen a very similar panel ( behind Kate Winslet in photo)
It’s in the Dorchester London. I enquired about their piece but they weren’t very forthcoming.
Internet searches have drawn a complete blank.
Hopefully somebody on the forum could kindly give me some information as to it origins / history.
