The mark reads: Kusube 楠部 (sometimes incorrectly translated as on the Gotheborg website as Nambe).

Yaichi Kusube 彌弌 楠部 (1897-1984) is a renowned Kyoto style Satsuma ceramist. The marks of his father Sennosuke Kusube (1859-1941) and Yaichi are practically the same. So it is not always certain which mark is the father or which is the son.
"Made in Japan" means that this mark is somewhere from 1921 - 1940.
Regards,
Martin.
