Subject:Original paintings and art
Posted By: Mary Kurts Sat, Jan 26, 2019 IP: 99.149.124.142

I have several original artworks that I acquired from a 90+ year old Japanese couple in Denver. They moved to the US after WWII and brought a lot of family heirlooms with them. However the son and other family didn't want them.

Can some one tell me if this picture is worth anything? It's made of small shells and seeds. And I don't think the "5/97" is a date because the linen on the front looks much older than that.

松鶴延年 - Enjoying the longevity of the pine and crane
丙午年作 - Made in the Year of Fire-Horse (...1906..)
Unfortunately the seal is too dim to read.

With regards,

Here try these. Still not great but better I think. It's just stamped very light.
