Hello All,
I picked up this wonderful piece today. I was told it was a "rub" or " rubbing and that it likely came from Israel ? It is HUGE - 30"X 72". So hard to get pictures of it without getting glare or background in it.
It looks like paper- no dots so, not a dotmatrix print.
Mother Mary has her hands in prayer(pic 1) and there are a couple crests/shields on it. (Pic # 3)- Sorry but my legs are in that picture as well.
On the very bottom left corner is the face of a child. (pic# 2) have to really look hard.
It looks embossed or sort of engraved. I honestly don't know what this is. Does any have any idea? It was framed in Minnesota in 1975. Supposed to have come from a collector of unique things.
I really need some help with this one. And any ideas of how to get better pictures will be welcomed.
