Subject:Chinese Cloisonne Enamel

Request feedback on this piece.Base metal is Copper.
Its large 12.5"diameter.
I assume it is of Chinese Origin due to the decoration on the rim the decoration on the base where the flowers are apparently have a few tiny holes which i guess
are pits but do not know other things are they symbols or characters if so what do they mean.
Would appreciate opinions on the age,period etc.
