Any help on the translation, age or origin would be very helpful. Happy holidays and thanks. About 26" tall.

Chinese in origin. Double dragons chasing pearl amongst waves.
Rosewood and probably dates to the Republic era or earlier.
A nice example.

Thank you for the reply do you think the back signature is by the artist? If so is there anyway to tell what it reads or who it is by? Thanks again

The character on the back is only the auspicious "Fu" (福) for "Blessings", "Good Luck", etc.
