Subject:small bronze vessel

Hello, I would appreciate some help on this item.
It is bronze and about 6" in length and 5 3/4" tall at side. Weighs 330 grams.
I couldn't find information except that it might be a yi vessel for pouring water in ritual or ceremonial hand washing.
Script letters on the bottom.
Is it a new reproduction copy or old, and what is its purpose?
