Subject:Need help Translate
Posted By: John Miller Sat, Nov 03, 2018 IP: 2601:204:cf80:212e:5

Hi,

I've found this very cool warrior print, I was wondering what is written next to it ? Is it some psalm, date or signature ? If so, what does it says ?

Thank you in advance for the help.

Inscription in Sino-Japanese(Kambun)
兆(跳)飛玄徳ニ仕大力世並ブ人ナシ
怒時髭逆立言
Flying Gentoku*, in his great power there is no match in the world.
When getting angry his beard rises.

*Gentoku is the Japanese reading of Xuande (courtesy name of Liu Bei) - Three Kingdom warlord.

Without name and date

With regards,
I.Nagy
