What would this motif be called? Can I get a mark translation.

This a typical Chinese mid-20th century vase with "snowscape" decoration and a four-character apocryphal mark of "Made during the Qianlong Reign" (乾隆年製 - Qianlong Nian Zhi). Here's a link to a thread on other such pieces from a couple of years ago.

Best regards,

Bill H.

Mark: Qianlong Nian Zhi (Made in the Qianlong period), but not from that period (1736-1795).
On Chinese porcelain the marks are a part of the decoration. According Gotheborg this mark is from the 2nd part of the 20th century. See:

Martin.

The apocryphal mark says,
乾隆年製 - Made during the reign of Qianlong.
Qianlong (title of reign 1736-1795 of Aisin Gioro Hongli), 4th emperor of the Qing Dynasty.

Thank you so very much everyone. I suspected it was 20th century but having never actually seen porcelain done in this snowscape motif I couldn't be sure.
I personally find the design quite attractive, I wonder why its not more common?

Btw, I have a few more posts below here on the thread, if you know or know anybody who could help me out I would be very appreciative. The two celadons are what I really need help on.
Thanks again everyone :)
