Subject:Yixing pottery
Posted By: Myra Mon, Oct 22, 2018 IP: 77.170.249.58

Dear connoisseurs,
These pictures were sent to me by an acquaintance. Does anyone recognize this type of pottery as being Yixing? There are no marks.
I cannot rely on my limited knowledge; any comments would be highly appreciated. Thank you so much!
Greetings,
Myra

Definitely not. Wrong clay body, wrong aesthetic, wrong glazed finish - YiXing is usually unglazed as the clay has a unique nature.

These look like studio pieces, and are probably not even Chinese.
