Dear forum members, at a flea shop I purchased this figurine, although I'm not good on judging white chinese style porcelain this looked interesting. Could you please share your thought on it, souvenir grade or an actual artwork. And perhaps an artist's seal might be identified.

I have seen sets of Zodiac calendar characters made in Japan. I have collected a few off examples though never collected a whole set.

The signature style and placement also make me think of this being Japanese.

It certainly is well modelled.
