Subject:Very large chinese painting

I need information about autor of this painting and eventually age of it. The painting is in not very good condition. There are traces of former reparatures and I think that this reparatures are more than 100 years old. I think that it is Guandi. Above the head of the figure is inscription. I send the photographs of this inscription in another post. The painting is more then 2 m large.

天地正氣　-　The universe is just

Citation from the famous "Song of Righteousness" （正氣歌）written by Wen Tianxiang 文天祥　1236-1283　general of Southern Song Dynasty.

丙申秋月望日亭題　-Inscribed in the Year of Fire-Monkey (...1836,1896..) Autumn Month, at Wangri Pavilion
Seal is too dim to read.
The name and seal on the left bottom likewise
unreadable.
