Hello, this is my very first post here. I have always been intrigued by the art of China, Japan, and surrounding countries. Particularly, Buddha, for the spiritual connection.
I found this piece in a shop, but don’t want to make a silly purchase, especially given some quality concerns.
Can anyone tell me anything about this piece? Where is it from? Was it made for worship, or for export? Any idea of value? Etc...
I appreciate any insight.
