I have this I've kind of narrowed it down to Japanese but I could be wrong any help will be greatly appreciated thank you Andra

Tashiro Shoten (???? till 1954) was a firm using elephant heads on its marks, but not a complete elephant as far as I know.
No idea what N.P.E.A. means, If it is Japanese, than N.P. might be Nippon Porcelain.
If you show pictures of the item itself, perhaps we can help you more.

Looks Japanese, so possibly the mark is a Tashiro Shoten mark 1940-1954.

Thank you so much. I wonder if it was something personal because I can't find the mark anywhere I wonder who it was made for
