And so forth
I can send more images if needed.
Thanks in advance for any help.

This could depict the Goddess of Mercy, called Guanyin in China, who is considered by many devotees to be an avatar of the Mortal Buddha, or Bodhisattva, Avalokiteshvara. Guanyin typically has a small image of the Bodhisattva in a diadem worn in her coif, which attribute appears to be present here.

I have no idea how these names would be transliterated into Korean. Perhaps wikipedia.org can provide further info.

Best regards,

Bill H.

Thank you, I have been told it is Guanyin and that pleases me.

Thanks again for your help and confirmation

This looks very Chinese to me. It is indeed a classical depiction of Guanyin, Buddhist Bodhisattva of compassion. There are many heads of statues that are fakes. I cannot tell if this is an authentic antique or not just from photos. That said, it is quite beautiful.

Thanks very much, what you said seems to be the cocensus.
Guanyin, Chinese, hard to know if it’s real.
I’m just going to enjoy it.
Real or copy I find it very beautiful.
