Subject:Unusual Kangxi mark? Translation
Posted By: Paul Wed, Sep 26, 2018 IP: 86.143.111.131

Hi all,

maybe someone will be able to translate mark on my brown bowl, I am assuming that characters relates to kangxi reign as characters surrounded by double ring mark..?

Kind regards
Paul

Marking says, 一善堂製 - Yishantang-zhi -Made in the Good Deed
Hall of Porcelain
A smaller scale official kiln during the Qing dynasty (originated in Ming dynasty)
In my humble opinion this bowl does not look that old.

With regards,
I.Nagy
