I have come across this unusual clay or earthenware tea pot and am hoping someone can tell me if it is old or new. I am also hoping someone can tell me what it is signed. There is one large mark on the bottom, and a smaller one on the inside bottom of the lid but I was unable to photograph it.

Oh, the pot itself measures about four and one-half inches inches tall.
