Subject:Small Japanese Vase eval

This vase has been in my family for a number of generations and we would like to know more. There no marks on the bottom, but perhaps elsewhere?

I am nor sure wha5 to search for, I searched for images but results were some pictures of geishas and cherry blossoms, even though I think they are peony. Looks like a depiction of a ritual in a heart frame. A wedding gift?
