The three stacks of characters above the "MADE IN CHINA" line read down and across from the right as "Jingdezhen Deng Xiping Studio" (Jing de zhen - Deng Xi ping - Gong zuo shi -- 景德鎮-鄧希平-工作室).

Deng Xiping, born 1942, earned high honors for her work in ceramic glazes during and after the PRC's National Construction period (Jianguo shiqi - 建國/建时期) circa the decade of the 1950s. During this era, she was Chief Engineer at the Jingdezhen Jianguo Porcelain Factory, which was organized in October, 1952. I've included a link herein to her brief biography in Chinese on the Jingdezhen website. A lightly edited machine translation of it is pasted below.

Best regards,

Bill H.
