Subject:Vase Idendification

Hi, I would be most grateful for some information about this platter. Maybe area, maker and date if possible. Platter is about 16 inches (42cm) in diameter. Thank you very much!

Hi Richard,
Japanse Arita plate, excellent painted.
The signature is too cursive for me to translate, I can only recognize 3 characters:
- the top one on the right: "Zei" 勢 (part of a kiln name), but what's the 2nd character?
- the bottom one on the right is "Gama" 窯 (kiln)
- the bottom one on the left is "Saku" 作 (work by / ware).
It's not much, but perhaps other Japanese translators on this forum can help you.
Regards,
Martin.
