Subject:Japanese cloisonne vase
Posted By: Gwenda Sun, Apr 22, 2018 IP: 1.122.46.85

I thought I posted this the other day but I can't find it so I do apologise if it is already up. This is an unusual Japanese cloisonne vase, almost in the all over floral chintz design of the English pottery of the 40's - 50's. I would like any info I can get on it please. Marked to base as shown, in centre and on metal rim. Also stamped Made in Japan on metal rim. 23cm tall

Inaba cloisonné, Taisho to Showa period.

The logo is that of the Inaba atelier.

"Made in Japan" indicates the piece was likely made after 1920.
