jar depicts dragons chasing the sun ..can anyone help me date it.

Your Chinese transfer-decorated dragon jar is a late 20th century or subsequent product for the decorative ceramics market.

I would say late 20thC to present as it appears the decorations are transfers rather than hand-painting, and the glaze and porcelain are very 'new' in appearance.
However, transfer ware has been round for ages, so someone else might confirm or negate what I've said.
