Hi - not sure of the period but looks like Kangxi mark, would appreciate any opinions/input on date, thinking at least 19thc? Vase stands 8" high.

Famille verte porcelains in various forms and motifs with this and other style Kangxi marks were made for export from the late 19th century through the Republic era. This one probably is as early as you surmise and of quite good quality. Here are other topnotch examples, two tall unmarked melon jars in the Kangxi style that got turned into lamps circa 1900.

Best regards,

Bill H.

Bill - Thanks for the confirmation - appreciate you taking the time to reply. My vase, even though of nice quality doesn't come close to the fine pair you posted. They are truly stunning.

I have a "converted to a lamp" yellow ware vase that I'll post to a new thread later on.

Thanks again

Larry
