Subject:Need help identifying artist, art style, and value of Print
Posted By: LindsJ Thu, Apr 12, 2018 IP: 2604:2d80:c407:8be8:

I posted one print previously. Here is the other.
I'm looking for translation and identification assistance for 2 prints by the same artist. I'd love to know the artist, origin, style and any value possibly associated with the art. Thank you for any and all help.

This is a modern reproduction of a Japanese woodblock print by Sharaku. It has decorative value only. Sharaku prints are very rare and valuable. Here is an original at the Boston MFA:

On the Google you will find lot of pages in English, about Sharaku and Toshusai.
The value of these reprinted woodblock prints
varies between 50-120 US$.

With regards,
I.Nagy
