Subject:up for sale
Posted By: Sandra Sun, Apr 08, 2018 IP: 2600:1700:ca01:6f10: I have here very nice ceramic lipstick compact, I believe it's a Qionlong reign mark, which should be in the years between 176-1795. |

Posted By: Bill H Mon, Apr 09, 2018 This is a container for red ink used with Chinese "chops" or name seals. It is transfer-decorated and probably came originally in a boxed set along with a soapstone or serpentine stone "seal" with Foo Dog or other symbol pre-carved on one end and the other end ready to be carved with the buyer's "name" in Chinese. |

Posted By: Doubley Mon, Apr 09, 2018 I don’t know Sandy, I have this one which was from China about 8 years ago. It is a souvenir seal paste box, which at one time had a stamp with my name on it, coming in a small red silk box. Mine has the reign mark as well. Yours may be what mine was imitating r tributing.. Maybe some others will be able to give you more info. |
