Subject:Please help with this Chinese bowl
Posted By: Ray Fri, Mar 30, 2018 IP: 2602:304:cf5f:5970:4

Hello,
Could some one tell me how old this bowl might be?
It is about 16 inches wide. Fully handpainted and everything including the mark is under the glaze. The dark blue portions has metal in it. The base is unglazed and is rough. It has some orangish color that may be is due to the firing.
I think it has a Xuande mark which apparently is commonly copied.
I saw few similar bowls with the same motif but without the metalic effect(at least from the pics I saw) online but I have no idea if my bowl is old or just some recent copy.

And another example with the same pattern but completely round
