Hi all,

I recently purchased these wall plaques and am skeptical of their authenticity. Could you all please help me determine the age/authenticity of these plaques? Who are the artists/are they fake. Thank you for all the help/

If your worried then that's the first alarm bell sounding. Why did you buy them, how much did you pay, and how were they sold to you? These are all things you can answer for us. Did you think you were buying one thing but got another? Where did you make your purchase and did you seek advice before hand? Further information will help I'm sure. Best wishes David

Except of the different titles from the second line
the inscriptions are the very same, like being transferred from the same matrix.
戊辰年鄧碧珊　-　Year of Earth-Dragon (1928) Deng Bishan
畫於珠山　-　Painted at Zhushan

You really need to find out if these are original Deng Bishan.
Looking at others which I posted a second link to I would doubt it. The work is just not detailed enough for my eyes and somewhat, "too similar" or generally of high enough quality. And from an artist who is a big name. Doesn't seem right does it. The script and seal don't look anything like the original example either. Its a small detail but the hanging ring on the top of the frames is just not consummate with a top piece of art. Looks like rings from a hardware store. If you note the top of original examples the hanging fixing is very ornate. There are plenty of others who know better than me of course. Best wishes D
