Although "Hong"/鴻 has a root meaning of "Wild Swan", in combination with "Tu"/圖 and in the context of the inscription "Zhanwang Hongtu"/展望鴻圖, the term would co-function as "Hongtu"/宏圖, thus have a meaning on the order of "Looking ahead to grand prospects". In the case of the bird on the cup, perhaps that would be nest-building and rearing a brood.

Best regards,

Bill H.

The four characters on your cup:
展望鴻圖

展望 - looking at far away, looking at the future;
鴻 - means big, huge;
圖 - achievement, accomplishment (like building a kingdom, a business, etc.)

Together, they can be translated as:

Looking forward to your great achievement!
