Posted By: sue Sun, Mar 25, 2018 Hi, this is from Turkmenistan or northern Afghanistan. Probably Tekke tribe. It will be handmade with some fire gilding on a silver base. The stones look to be glass. They are imitating carnelians that would be found on more upmarket versions. Probably a dowery item . Earlier 20thc.
