Please can anyone help identify this signature
It’s broken and reglued but a nice pot

This pot had a rough life.
The marking is in Kanji writing: Hidari 左 (left).
Followed in Katakana writing by: Te テ, meaning just the sound / tone: Te. No idea where that stands for.
Your pot is kyo-Satsuma, made somewhere between 1920- 1940.
