Hi,
Can anyone read the marks on these matched pair of miniature vases?
Thanks much!

The mark reads Gyokuzan 玉山.

Gyokuzan seems to be the art (Go) name of Chin Jukan 12th (1835-1906). Chin Jukan 12th is widely credited for making Satsuma internationally famous. The Chin Jukan kiln is still continued by descendants.
A number of Gyokuzan pieces are in the holdings of the Museum of the Imperial Collections in Tokyo. His pieces are also in the permanent collection of the Tokyo National Museum.
Regards,
Martin.
