Subject:Chinese porcelain famille verte brush pot

This has a mark that does not match any dynasty mark in my books and was hoping someone could translate. It appears to be pretty old with quite fine and delicate hand enameling. The foot seems unusual for brush pots no? what are your guys thoughts?

Not Chinese, but Japanese. Kutani.

The mark is Japanese, the Kanji characters are Seizan 政山 (or Masayama) - Kutani 九谷.
Seizan in On-reading (Chinese Japanese) or Masayama in Kun-reading (native Japanese).
I'm not sure which is the correct name of the 2.
I know nothing about this artist, but I do have another mark like this in my Japanese pottery marks database, see picture.
However, that is a Satsuma mark (date: Taisho period 1912-1925), so it might be another artist. But I don't have any idea about the age of your piece. Perhaps others know more.
Regards,
Martin.

Looks new to me. If it was old, the foot rim would have been worn, but it isn't.

I found on Ebay another pot with somewhat the same decorations and mark like yours:
www.ebay.com/itm/MARKED-Kutani-Seizan-JAPANESE-SHOWA-PERIOD-KUTANI-HIS-HERS-COVERED-TEA-CUP-SET-/131202101559

The name Seizan was used. Dated: Showa period 1926-1988.

Martin.

Thank you guys so much. I feel like a complete idiot, I've been wrapped up so much in Chinese art lately it didn't even occur to me to look at it as not being Chinese.
