Subject:Jade Bat & Coin medallion

This 5 cm high object is a carving of a bat on a coin. I conducted a scratch test with an Exact-o blade and was unable to scratch it. Also, there is a translucency in the thinner areas when held to a light.

How old is this? Is a some sort of button or clasp?

That looks like a Burma Jadeite pendant,
