Japanese Satsuma. Probably early 20th Century or so and of average quality.

It is a really pretty Japanese porcelain vase. Please keep in mind that, though the art on the vase may be beautiful...the bottom of the vase can really tell the story. You will want to include the picture of any marks...and even if there are no marks; that can be telling all on its own. Again, thank you for sharing your vase!

Because of the wear and lack of mark on the bottom, I would actually place this wonderful piece in the late 19th century. Marking of porcelain, imported to the U.S., became a requirement around 1890...though if the piece wasn't produced for export it might not have been marked regardless.
