Subject:Vase with Cranes or birds.
Posted By: Michael Wed, Jan 10, 2018 IP: 68.74.154.57

Hello, I recently purchased this vase. I know nothing about it. Is it old? Someone told me it could be Korean. How would you describe the style of vase?
Thank you.

According to the source at the link, Korean-arts.com, this vase shape in Korea is called "jubyeong" (bottle vase) and is the female counterpart to the male "maebyeong" (plum vase), which tends to more of a marketplace magnet.

What else can I say besides "Gimme a glass of whatever that maebyeong is havin', please!" :)
