Subject:Small metal Teapot with mark
Posted By: Nick Fri, Dec 22, 2017 IP: 87.65.102.120

Hello to all and merry christmas in advance !

I purchased this item in an auction house this summer (pure instinct). I find it a bit quircky, espescially with the small size. Was this intended as part of a set for puppets?

Small metal Teapot approx 8,6cm including the dragon on the lid.

Nick

The marks say 'Zu Yin' (足銀), an abbreviation for 'Silver of Standard Purity', something your photos would seem to belie.

Best regards,

Bill H.

The embossed hallmark reads,
足銀 Zuyin - Pure Silver
Chinese silver hallmark.

With regards,
