Subject:Cloisonne date and price
Posted By: Hai Tue, Dec 19, 2017 IP: 174.227.14.161

I have a unique mushroom shape Chinese cloisonne tea cup and pot. It looks like from Qing dynasty. But, I do not know how old it is since Qing dynasty lasted for over 330 years.

I searched google and ebay. However, I cannot find any similar ones. I would like to know the price estimation.

The height is 12.5" and the diameter is 10.5"

Please help me.

I'm not sure, but your item may be related to the one being offered here on eBay. Perhaps you could contact the seller for further information if others in the forum don't satisfy your query.

Somehow I have difficulty believing these pieces are Qing, even late Qing, and not something made during the 1970s at the earliest, or even more recently. They have some Qing motifs, but the execution looks modern.

Perhaps someone else is more knowledgeable than I am and has a different first impression.
