Posted By: Linda2 Mon, Dec 04, 2017 IP: 142.59.135.91

Is this a Kangxi biscuit famille verte winepot or is it a 19th century copy. Either way please tell me why. Thank you

Dear Linda

I don't know much about sur le biscuit porcelain, but to me the enamels here look far too pale and pastelly for the Kangxi era.

I am relying on the image on p177 of "Treasures Of Chinese Export Ceramics" by William R Sargent.

Kind regards
J.Lim
