Posted By: tammy Sun, Nov 12, 2017 IP:

I am in possession of some Japanese porcelain...I have a teapot w/lid, 12 saucers, a creamer, a sugar bowl w/o top and a teacup...I can't seem to find out any information of the china...does anyone have any idea what it is named, what age and the maker? Thank you!

I think these are probably around mid 20th century from a manufacturer in Nagoya. The older geisha ware has gold enamel or remnants of gold enamel, the white dots and made in Japan indicate post ww2. I think this is a waters edge scene, it does have a niche collectors market, inexpensive, and many patterns to choose from | Associations | Articles | Exhibitions | Galleries |
