Posted By: Nikola Tue, Oct 10, 2017 IP: 130.204.240.128

Hello,
i have this porcelain tea set contains 24 pieces and it is from my father that was given to him from his great grandmother, so i think it is made around 19th century maybe ? Can you help me out with the identification, i look up the marks, but i didn't find any information about it ? Is it Japanese or Chinese ?

Here is the photos that i make: https://imgur.com/a/OVY1H

This is Satsuma-like porcelain (real Satsuma is earthenware) with images of the goddess Kannon and a dragon. The marks are Kazan 加山 and Naka 仲 (literally: relationship). Not a lot of information to be found on the internet about these marks.
This is Japanese porcelain made for export to the West, probably around 1930-1940 or even younger. No great artistic value.
Regards,
Martin.
