Subject:asian print value
Posted By: mike dunham Tue, Oct 03, 2017 IP: 100.15.192.88 I was made a gift of the attached asian print by a relative who has passed away and had an amazing eye for art. But I have no sense as to its relative value. Any suggestions as whether it is worth the effort to pursue an investigation would be greatly appreciated. |

Posted By: Endre Tue, Oct 24, 2017 Mike, unfortunately we cannot see your image. I'm sure that many people would like to see your print, and would like to help you wth it. Some prints are very collectible and some are prized. Before shelling out money to have it evaluated, try uploading some more images, and a little more info if available. If by chance it is a suspected antique photoengraving or lithograph, use a pocket microscope and make sure that you do not see magenta and cayan. However, modern prints can be valuable and or quite beautiful- and if you like it, the value is through the roof. Good luck |
