Subject:Help to translate old poster print
Posted By: Endre Mon, Oct 02, 2017 IP: 2602:306:c51c:e200:a

I'm hoping that someone could help translate some of this poster print. I am curious about what it says, in hopes of learning what this and when it was printed. Any help will be appreciated, thanks

FYI, this and other antique Chinese advertising posters have been widely reproduced and sold online during the past couple of decades. Some from that vintage have found their way into antique stores and malls. You should have yours authenticated by an expert before considering it to be very old.

Best regards,

Thanks Bill for the warning. I think you nailed it. Looking again at the paper overall condition, I don't think there is much possibility of it being from 1929. Unless it was rolled up and put away in a dark dry place all this time, which is plausible but very doubtful. Thanks again, I appreciate it
