Posted By: Bokaba Wed, Aug 30, 2017 Very interesting vase Martin. I agree at least early Meiji Period. I haven't seen much pre-Meiji Satsuma, not that it didn't exist. Can you make out the Kanji in the red seal? The overglaze blue enamel is quite an unusual mark I think. The design is multiple double gourds to contain much good luck/magic. |
