Subject:Large Chinese Cloisonne Vase, Finely Made- Help With Date
Posted By: Kevin Sat, Aug 26, 2017 IP: 69.127.30.145

Dear Members

A very attractive tall Chinese cloisonne vase with a bird and flower pattern. the base is colored in a dark turquoise. With the aide of magnification, one may see numerous pinholes left by the solder that was used in the process of making the cloisonnes. I would like to know if someone may be able to put a date range of when on the character of the piece for when it might have been made.
H: 12 1/4" ; 31 cm

Thank you for looking

Kind regards

Kevin

This appears to be a Jing Fa style vase, probably made at the Beijing Enamel Works sometime after the 1950s.
